The Maharashtra government has taken a major step toward simplifying cooperative housing society registration by launching a fully digital registration process through the Apple Sarkar Portal. The initiative, introduced by the state cooperation department, aims to modernize the registration system, reduce paperwork, and make the process faster and more transparent for residents across the state.

Officials believe this change will significantly ease the burden on housing societies and help clear the large number of pending and unregistered cooperative housing societies in Maharashtra.
